How to Choose the Right Battery for Your Kit
Kits are sold without a battery. When ordering you can add one of each kit's optional batteries:
- 250W kit → 36V 15Ah Downtube, 36V 20.5Ah Downtube
- 500W kit → 36V 15Ah Downtube, 36V 20.5Ah Downtube, 48V 17.5Ah Downtube, 48V 22.5Ah Downtube, 48V 20Ah Triangle
- 1000W and 1500W kits → 48V 17.5Ah Downtube, 48V 22.5Ah Downtube, 52V 24Ah Downtube, 52V 20Ah Triangle, 48V 20Ah Triangle
- 2000W kit → 52V 24Ah Downtube, 72V 20Ah Triangle, 52V 20Ah Triangle
- 3000W kit → 52V 24Ah Downtube, 72V 20Ah Triangle
Available Battery Formats
Downtube Batteries
Mounted on the bicycle's down tube with a standard bracket and key-lock system. Standard downtube format, compatible with most MTB, trekking and city bike frames. Available in 36V, 48V and 52V, with capacities from 15Ah up to 24Ah. Weight sits low and centred — natural handling with no imbalance.
Triangle Batteries
Fixed inside the frame triangle with mounting straps. Slim profile, low and centred weight — the ideal solution for high-power kits (1000W and above) where bike balance matters. Available in 48V, 52V and 72V, with built-in LCD display and USB port. Recommended for custom builds and intensive use.
What Every Battery Includes
- LG/Samsung Li-Ion cells — Grade A, 800–1000 charge cycles at >80% retained capacity
- Integrated BMS — protection against over-discharge, overload, cell imbalance and temperature
- LCD display or LED indicator — charge level visible at all times
- USB port — charge mobile devices directly from the battery
- Key-lock system — quick removal and secure locking
- Charger included — matched to the battery's voltage, ready to use
- IP65 protection — resistant to light rain and splashes in normal use
The maximum current set on the controller must stay within the battery BMS discharge limit. An oversized controller can force the BMS into protection mode and cut power to the motor.
Maintenance and Storage
- Avoid discharging fully below 20% — significantly reduces cell lifespan
- Store at 40–60% capacity during long periods of non-use
- Always charge in a ventilated space — never unattended overnight
- Avoid temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C — both during use and storage
- Use only the original charger or a charger with the correct output voltage

Frequently Asked Questions About E-Bike Batteries
The voltage must match your controller specifications. Based on our battery table: 36V for the 250W–500W kits, 48V for 500W–1500W, 52V for 1000W–3000W and 72V for the 3000W kit.
Capacity in Ah determines how far you can ride on a single charge. For a daily commute of 20–40 km, 15–17.5Ah is sufficient. For longer routes of 60–90 km or intensive use with a 1000W kit, we recommend a minimum of 20–22.5Ah. Keep in mind: real-world range depends on motor power, total weight and terrain type.
The downtube battery mounts on the down tube with a standard bracket and key-lock — compatible with almost any frame, quick to fit and remove. The triangle battery fixes inside the frame triangle with straps, has a wider profile but keeps the weight lower and more centred — preferred for high-power kits and custom builds.
Batteries in our range are rated for 800–1000 full charge cycles at over 80% retained capacity — the equivalent of 2–4 years of intensive daily use. For maximum lifespan: avoid discharging below 20%, store at 40–60% capacity during long periods of non-use, and always charge in a ventilated space with the original charger.
Generally yes — most 48V controllers also accept 52V (14S), as the internal components are rated for slightly higher voltages. At 52V you will get marginally higher speed and torque compared to 48V. The 1000W, 1500W, 2000W and 3000W kits in our range are explicitly compatible with both 48V and 52V.
