Electric Scooters — Urban Commuting, Performance and Off-Road | All4eBikes Romania

Our electric scooter range covers the full spread of use — from compact folding models for the daily commute, to performance scooters with dual AWD motors and flagship models capable of 85 km/h. We work with two proven brands: OOTD, with the widest choice of models (from the light urban T08, through the T30 cargo off-roader, to the T90 flagship), and Apefox, with the C14 — a seated scooter with a cargo basket, built for comfortable carrying. If you need an alternative with pedal assistance and longer range, take a look at our electric bike range as well.

Every scooter we offer arrives fully assembled from the factory, with battery, display and braking system integrated — ready to use straight out of the box.

How to Choose the Right Power for Your Scooter

Motor power determines top speed, the torque available under acceleration and the ability to climb gradients or carry extra weight. These are the main power profiles in our range:

500W — Compact Urban Commuting

Single motor, light frame, folding or with a seat. Ideal for short journeys in town and easy storage. (e.g. OOTD T08, Apefox C14)

900–1400W Single Motor — Balanced Performance

Sustained power for medium distances and heavier riders, with larger wheels for added comfort. (e.g. OOTD T10, SR1)

Dual Motor 1200–1800W — All-Terrain

Two motors for traction on both wheels, full suspension and wide tyres for varied terrain. (e.g. OOTD T10 Pro)

Dual Motor 1600W — Cargo Off-Road

Power and stability for heavy loads (up to 200 kg) and difficult terrain. (e.g. OOTD T30)

Dual Motor 2100W — Flagship Top Speed

The most powerful model in the range, with speeds up to 85 km/h. Intended for experienced riders, on private land. (e.g. OOTD T90)

Types of Electric Scooter Available

Our offering covers several categories of use, each with technical characteristics matched to its purpose:

  • Compact folding scooters — light, easy to store and carry, suited to the daily commute and to combining with public transport (e.g. OOTD T08)
  • Scooters with large wheels and suspension — 10”–13” pneumatic tyres, front or full suspension, for comfort on uneven ground (e.g. OOTD T10 Pro)
  • Dual AWD motor scooters — traction on both wheels for difficult terrain, sand or steep gradients (e.g. OOTD T10 Pro, T30, T90)
  • Cargo and off-road scooters — high maximum load and a reinforced frame for rough ground (e.g. OOTD T30, 200 kg load)
  • High-speed flagship scooters — speeds up to 85 km/h, intended for use on private land (e.g. OOTD T90)
  • Seated scooters with a cargo basket — a comfortable seat and storage space, an alternative to stand-up scooters (e.g. Apefox C14)

What to Check Before Choosing an Electric Scooter

To choose the model that suits your needs, consider the following criteria:

  • Single motor versus dual motor — a dual motor gives traction on both wheels and more power under acceleration, but uses more battery than a single motor
  • Wheel size and type — large pneumatic wheels (11”–13”) give stability and comfort on uneven ground; smaller wheels are easier to manoeuvre in town
  • Suspension — none for smooth tarmac, a front fork for light terrain, full hydraulic suspension for rough ground and high speeds
  • Braking system — hydraulic brakes give constant braking power and shorter stopping distances, recommended for faster or heavier models
  • Battery range — varies with capacity (Ah), rider weight and terrain; our range offers between 30 and 100 km on a charge
  • Top speed and road legality — high-speed models (above 45 km/h) may exceed the legal limits for public roads in Romania — check your local regulations before use
  • Water protection rating (IP) — relevant if you also ride in wet weather
  • Load capacity — check the maximum permitted load, especially for cargo or basket models (e.g. Apefox C14)

High-speed scooters (e.g. the OOTD T90, up to 85 km/h) are intended for experienced riders, and we recommend full protective equipment (helmet, body protection) and avoiding busy public roads.

Frequently Asked Questions about Electric Scooters

In Romania, electric scooters are treated similarly to bicycles and generally have a legal limit of 25 km/h on public roads. The faster models in our range (e.g. T10 Pro, T30, T90) are recommended for use on private land or in specific conditions — check your local regulations before using them on public roads.

A single-motor scooter uses one wheel (usually the rear) for propulsion. A dual-motor scooter has a motor in each wheel, giving traction on both — useful on slippery ground, sand or steep gradients. The advantage of a dual motor is better acceleration and stability; the disadvantage is higher battery consumption.

Larger wheels (11”–13”) pass more easily over bumps, potholes and uneven ground, giving better comfort at speed. Smaller wheels (10” and under) make the scooter easier to manoeuvre and more compact, but more sensitive to bumps on rough ground.

The T90 is the flagship model in our range, with a top speed of 85 km/h — far above the legal limits for public roads in Romania. It is recommended for use on private land, with full protective equipment, and is not intended for riding on busy public roads.

Range depends on battery capacity (Ah), rider weight, terrain and the number of active motors. Across our range, it varies between 30 km (compact models, e.g. the T08) and 90–100 km (flagship models with a large battery, e.g. the T90).

It depends on each model's protection rating (IP) — most scooters in our range are IP54 or IPX4, meaning resistance to splashes and light rain, but they are not designed for submersion or prolonged torrential rain. Avoid deep puddles and directly wetting the electronic components.

The Apefox C14 has a seat and an integrated cargo basket, built for comfort over longer distances and for carrying luggage or shopping. Stand-up scooters are more compact and easier to store, but require the rider to stand for the whole journey.
