36V 15Ah Downtube E-Bike Battery – Lithium Battery Pack for Electric Bike Conversion Kits
The 36V 15Ah downtube battery is the compact, affordable solution for low-power conversion kits, ideal for daily urban commuting and for riders who want a light battery without major range compromises. The 15Ah capacity (about 540Wh) is available as an option on the MTX 250W and 500W kits.
The downtube design is made for mounting on the horizontal or diagonal tube of the frame, giving a compact, integrated look. The battery locks onto a mounting plate with a key lock system, which gives it extra protection against theft and stability during use.

Why the 10S configuration matters for 36V systems
The 10S configuration means 10 cells connected in series, each contributing about 3.6–4.2V to the total pack voltage. 36V is the standard for low-power conversion kits (250-500W), and the 15Ah capacity gives the best weight-to-price ratio in the whole all4ebikes range.
BMS and cell protection
The battery has a 20A BMS, in a 10S6P configuration, which monitors in real time the voltage of each cell, the temperature and the operating current, preventing overcharge, excessive discharge and imbalance between cells. The casing is IP65 certified, protecting against light rain and splashes in normal use.

Installation, Maintenance and Safety
Mounting Steps
- Fix the Polly DP6 plate to the frame tube, aligned with the existing support arm
- Slide the 36V battery onto the plate until you hear the key lock click
- Connect the XT60 connector, observing the polarity marked on the casing
- Press the side button and check the 4 level LEDs before the first ride
Maintenance
- With a small 15Ah capacity, avoid leaving the battery fully discharged below 20% for more than a few days
- For breaks of more than two weeks, store at 40–60% capacity in a dry, cool place
- A full charge takes 3–5 hours — do not leave the charger unattended
- Avoid temperatures below 0°C or above 40°C, especially with intensive use in the city

The 36V 15Ah battery has 540 Wh and an estimated range of 55–65 km, on the 250W and 500W kits. If you ride longer distances at the same voltage, there is the higher-capacity variant.
