Triangle Batteries for Electric Bikes, 48V – 72V
A triangle battery mounts inside the frame triangle, held by straps or a dedicated bracket. The shape follows the frame geometry, so it holds more energy than a downtube case of the same length, and the weight sits low and central — exactly where it helps the bike's balance.
It is the recommended format for high-power kits, where you need more than 1000 Wh and voltages of 52V or 72V. Every model has an integrated BMS, an LCD display, a USB port and a charger included. In stock in Romania.
The Triangle Batteries in the Range
| Battery | Energy | Estimated range | Recommended kit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 48V 20Ah | 960 Wh | 70–85 km | 500W – 1500W |
| 52V 20Ah | 1040 Wh | 50–65 km | 1000W – 3000W |
| 72V 20Ah | 1440 Wh | 50–70 km | 3000W |
Range drops at 52V and 72V not because the battery is smaller, but because those voltages feed much more powerful kits, which drain it faster. The 72V battery holds the most energy in the whole range, 1440 Wh, but spends it on a 3000W motor.
What to Check Before Fitting
Frame triangles vary a great deal from one bicycle to another. Measure the height and width of the clear space between the down tube, the seat tube and the top tube before ordering. On small MTB frames and on full-suspension frames, there may not be enough room.
If the frame triangle is too small, or you want a simpler installation, a downtube battery fixes to the diagonal tube and fits almost any MTB, trekking or city bike frame.
