The OT02 is the most compact and lightest electric bike in the Onesport range: just 14.5 kg, small 16 inch wheels and a retro folding design that fits almost anywhere. The 250W motor and 36V 5.2Ah battery give up to 25 km of assisted range — enough for short daily journeys, without the weight of a standard bicycle.

The steel frame with a single gear keeps use as simple as possible — there is no derailleur to adjust, you just use the throttle or pedal. Kenda 16x1.35 inch tyres keep the dimensions compact, and the low 14.5 kg weight makes it easy to carry up stairs or into buildings without a lift.

14.5 kg – the lightest electric bike in the Onesport range

Weight is often the weak point of folding electric bikes. The OT02 solves that at just 14.5 kg — easy to carry up a flight of stairs, lift onto a train or store in a cupboard. That low weight comes from the small 5.2Ah battery and compact 16 inch wheels, a deliberate trade-off between range and portability.

A single gear – maximum simplicity

With no derailleur to adjust or maintain, the OT02 works on a get-on-and-pedal principle. It is the ideal choice for riders who do not want to think about changing gear, especially over short and relatively flat distances.

Note: because of the small 16 inch wheels, comfort over bumps is lower than on models with larger wheels. The OT02 is optimised for smooth urban tarmac, not rough ground.

Frequently Asked Questions about the ONESPORT OT02

Is it suitable for tall riders?

The OT02 is designed for average heights, with a height-adjustable saddle and handlebar. For very tall riders, a model with larger wheels (20 inch or above) will give a more comfortable riding position.

Why does it only have one gear?

The OT02 is designed for simplicity and minimum weight. A single gear removes the mechanical components of a derailleur, reducing weight and maintenance complexity.

How quickly does it fold for transport?

The folding frame collapses in around 10 seconds using the integrated quick-release clamps, with no tools needed.

Is the 5.2Ah battery enough for daily commuting?

For short distances (under 10 km each way), the range of up to 25 km comfortably covers several days of use between charges. For longer routes, we recommend the Onesport models with higher-capacity batteries.
