ONESPORT OT16-2 – Folding Electric Bike with Steel Frame and 48V 17Ah Battery

The OT16-2 is the folding answer for riders who combine a bike with a car, a train or limited storage space. The 250W motor (40 N·m of torque) and 48V 17Ah battery give 45–50 km on throttle alone or 80–90 km with pedal assistance. The folding steel frame fits in a car boot or under a desk, and the LCD display and Onesport app give full control over the assistance.

A folding steel frame shrinks the bike enough to fit in the boot of a compact car, into a block-of-flats lift or under a desk at work. It is the right choice for multimodal commuting — part of the journey by car or public transport, part by bike.

Two range modes for maximum flexibility

In pure electric mode (no pedalling), the OT16-2 covers 45–50 km, ideal when you do not want to arrive sweating. In assisted mode (pedalling plus motor), range rises to 80–90 km, effectively doubling the distance on one charge for riders willing to pedal lightly.

Note: the 25 km/h top speed is the legal limit for electric bicycles on public roads in Romania and the EU, permanently active on this model.

How quickly does the bike fold?

Folding the frame takes roughly 10–15 seconds, with no tools needed. The system uses quick-release clamps on the main frame and the handlebar.

What does "Line Brake" mean – are the brakes safe at 25 km/h?

Line Brake is a cable braking system, similar to the V-brakes on conventional bicycles. For this model's 25 km/h top speed it provides sufficient braking force and is easy to adjust.

What is the difference between electric mode and assisted mode?

In electric mode (throttle), the motor propels the bike with no effort from you, with a range of 45–50 km. In assisted mode, the motor supplements your pedalling, extending range to 80–90 km because part of the energy comes from you.

Does the Onesport app work offline?

The LCD display works independently of the app for the basics (speed, battery, assist mode). The Onesport app, connected over Bluetooth, adds extra functions such as ride history and advanced settings, but needs an active connection to your phone.
