ONESPORT OT05 Pro – Premium Electric Bike with 700C Wheels and a 36V 22.5Ah Battery

The OT05 Pro is the premium version of the OT05: the same torque sensor technology, but with 700C wheels (the road size, more efficient on tarmac), a battery increased to 36V 22.5Ah and higher-grade XOD hydraulic brakes. Range stays in the 110–120 km band in assisted mode (70–80 km on throttle alone), but with a faster, more efficient feel.

Compared with the OT05 (27.5 inch wheels), the OT05 Pro moves to 700C wheels with 50C tyres — a larger diameter that reduces rolling resistance and increases efficiency on smooth tarmac. The XOD hydraulic brakes, from a brand specialising in quality components for performance bicycles, add precision over generic hydraulic brakes.

The 22.5Ah battery – more capacity in a more efficient wheel

Although the OT05 Pro carries 24% more battery capacity than the OT05 (22.5Ah against 18.2Ah), range stays in the same 110–120 km band in assisted mode, because the more efficient 700C wheels use slightly less energy per kilometre. In practice, the extra capacity gives a larger safety reserve rather than simply more kilometres.

Why 700C wheels instead of 27.5 inch on the Pro model

700C is the standard used on performance road bikes because of its larger diameter, which holds speed with less effort on smooth tarmac. It is the right choice for riders who travel mostly on well-maintained streets and cycle paths.

Note: maximum load is 120 kg, the same as other premium Onesport models, despite the thinner 700C wheels optimised for efficiency.
