ONESPORT OT02 Pro – Folding Electric Bike with 20” Wheels and Shimano 7-Speed

The OT02 Pro keeps the compact, retro format of the OT02 but moves up to 20 inch wheels and adds a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain for more flexibility on varied terrain. At 17.18 kg it stays easy to handle, and the same 36V 5.2Ah battery covers short and medium daily distances.

The difference from the standard OT02 is simple: larger wheels (20 versus 16 inch) for smoother rolling over bumps, and a 7-speed derailleur to handle light gradients or a headwind more easily. The folding steel frame and Kenda 20x1.35 inch tyres keep the same balance between portability and pedalling comfort.

From 16” to 20” – what changes in practice

The larger wheels on the OT02 Pro reduce the effect of small bumps (cracked tarmac, low kerbs) and give a more stable feel at cruising speed. The weight difference (17.18 kg against 14.5 kg) comes from the larger wheels and the derailleur drivetrain, but the bike remains easy to carry up stairs or lift into a car.

The Shimano 7-speed drivetrain lets you adjust pedalling effort to the gradient or a headwind, a real advantage over the single-speed version of the standard OT02, especially on routes with gentle undulations.

Note: although more versatile than the standard OT02, the OT02 Pro is still an urban model, optimised for tarmac and cycle paths rather than off-road.
