Direct-Drive Motor: No Gears, No Wear

The gearless direct-drive motor has no gears or moving mechanical parts — power is transferred magnetically direct from stator to rotor. The result: completely silent operation under 60 dB, zero mechanical wear and a practically unlimited service life. At 250W continuous power, the motor delivers smooth, progressive assist at peak efficiency for urban speeds of 20-25 km/h and maximum battery range. Sealed casing for all-weather use.

250W: EU Pedelec Legal Limit

250W motors meet the legal definition of a pedal-assist bicycle (pedelec) under EU Directive 2002/24/EC — free use on cycle paths and public roads, no registration, no licence, no mandatory insurance. Assist cuts out automatically at 25 km/h per the European standard.

Dual-Mode Controller — Built-In Redundancy

The 36V/48V 17A controller runs in Hall sensor mode as standard for smooth starts and precise throttle response. On any sensor fault, it switches automatically to non-Hall mode — the motor keeps running without interruption. Brake levers cut motor current instantly.
