What is included in the 1000W conversion kit
Complete 1000W conversion kit — 9 components, torque arms included. Fitting takes 2–3 hours.
Battery and charger are not included — you add them when ordering, from this kit's optional batteries: see the batteries. For fitting you only need ordinary tools (2.5 / 3 / 5 mm hex keys, an adjustable spanner and a screwdriver).
The 1000W kit is the point where a conversion stops being assistance and becomes real propulsion: up to 40 N·m of torque delivered straight into the wheel hub, speeds of up to 50 km/h and sustained power on gradients of 5–20% without dropping off. The brushless gearless direct-drive motor has no gears to wear out and no brushes to replace, and the 25A controller with 18 MOSFETs gives it the headroom it needs not to choke under load.

Why the kit needs torque arms, and why they come included
At 1000W the motor delivers up to 40 N·m straight onto the wheel axle – enough, over time, to start turning the axle in its dropout seat if it is not fixed additionally. The phenomenon is called a spun axle and, left untreated, it widens the dropout and can damage the frame beyond repair, especially on aluminium.
At this power the torque arm is mandatory, whatever the frame material. That is why the kit ships with two torque arms included, rather than sold separately as an accessory: they clamp to the frame and take the load off the axle. Fitting takes 10–15 minutes per side and needs no special tools.
25A controller with 18 MOSFETs
The 25A and the 18 MOSFETs are the reason this kit sustains effort on long climbs without losing power. The controller normally works with the motor's Hall sensors, and if a sensor fails it switches automatically to non-Hall mode so you are not left stranded. The brake levers cut power to the motor instantly at the first touch.

Carries real weight without losing speed uphill. The 40 N·m of torque is felt most when pulling away with a load.
Long climbs
Constant power on gradients between 5 and 20%, with no overheating on extended ascents.
Upgrading from 500W
The next step when 500W is no longer enough: 33% more torque and around 15 km/h more speed.

1000W or 1500W? When it is worth going up
1000W covers a loaded cargo bike and long climbs, at speeds of up to 50 km/h. If you carry heavy loads constantly, climb very steep gradients or want reserve beyond that speed, the 1500W kit is the next step. Bear in mind that every step up in power also calls for a battery to match, so budget for that cost in advance.
Warranty and spare parts
