Description
eBike Controller 36V–48V 17A – Ultra-Compact Sine Wave for 250W–350W Brushless Motors
The most compact controller in the All4eBikes range — 6 MOSFETs, miniaturised format (53×30×95mm), 36V/48V compatibility and a stable 17A output. Designed for 250W–350W brushless gearless motors, with 3-mode sine wave, self-learning and waterproof connectors — the ideal replacement for the 250W kit or for e-bikes with limited frame space.
The 17A controller is the entry point into the All4eBikes sine wave range — dimensions of 53×30×95mm and weight under 200g make it the easiest to mount and the most discreet, without sacrificing sine wave technology, phase self-learning or complete protection. Integrated waterproof connectors ensure reliable operation in all weather, without the need for additional protection.

Supported Connections
6 MOSFETs at 17A — miniaturised without compromise
At 17A maximum current, the 6-MOSFET configuration sizes exactly what is needed for 250W–350W motors — each MOSFET handles under 3A, keeping operating temperature low in a casing of just 53×30×95mm. The result is the smallest controller in the range, with the same 3-mode sine wave technology and phase self-learning as the larger models.
Integrated waterproof connectors — all-weather operation
Unlike controllers with standard SM connectors, this model comes with integrated waterproof connectors that protect against moisture, rain and condensation without requiring additional protection. IP65 certified — resistant to water jets from any direction.
UART No. 2 protocol — compatible with standard displays
The controller uses the UART No. 2 protocol, the most widely used communication standard for eBike displays — compatible with SW900, UKC1, S866, EN06 and GD01 and other common displays. The display shows speed, battery level, total distance, PAS assist level, fault codes and lighting status.
Which Kits It's Recommended For
250W MTX Kit
A direct sine wave replacement for the 250W MTX kit — same 17A current rating, more compact format, waterproof connector and 3-mode sine wave.
Folding and City Bikes
The miniaturised dimensions (53×30×95mm) make it the ideal solution for folding bikes, city bikes and small frames where space is limited.
Failed Controller Replacement
A universal replacement for any 36V/48V system from 250W to 350W with a failed controller, including branded systems with standard connectors.
Recommended Batteries
At 17A maximum current, any battery with a BMS rated for at least 15A is compatible. Our recommendations for the 250W kit:
36V 15Ah Downtube Battery
The natural pairing for 36V 250W — 20A BMS, ~540Wh, 40–60 km range, compact down tube mounting. View the 36V 15Ah battery.
36V 20.5Ah Downtube Battery
Extended range on 36V — 30A BMS, ~738Wh, 55–80 km per charge. View the 36V 20.5Ah battery.
Installation and Wiring
Installation Steps
- Connect the motor phase wires to the controller outputs
- Connect the Hall sensor connectors from the motor
- Connect the battery — observe polarity
- Connect the display, throttle, PAS sensor and brake sensors
- Run the self-learning procedure with the wheel lifted before first use
Safety and Maintenance
- Waterproof connectors protect against rain and moisture
- Do not cover the metal casing — thermal dissipation requires airflow
- Never exceed the BMS discharge limit of the associated battery
- Operating temperature: −40°C to +80°C
