48V–60V 35A E-Bike Controller – Sine Wave 3-Mode Self-Learning Controller for 1000W–1500W Brushless Motors
Smart sine wave controller with 15 MOSFETs, 3 operating modes (Hall / non-Hall / self-learning) and multi-voltage compatibility 48V/52V/60V. Designed for 1000W–1500W gearless brushless motors, it gives smooth start-up, low noise, regenerative braking and full protections — in a compact, thermally efficient format.
The 35A controller is the ideal replacement or upgrade for existing 48V and 52V systems — the 1000W–1500W power range covered by this controller matches the MTX 1500W kit (which also has a 35A controller) and is an upgrade for the MTX 1000W kit (25A controller), as well as for DIY projects with hub motors at lower voltages. Sine wave technology with 3 modes keeps running even if the Hall sensors fail, and phase self-learning removes the most common installation error.

The sine wave advantage at 35A — smooth start-up and low noise
At 35A maximum current, sine wave technology sends a continuous sinusoidal signal to the motor instead of steps (square wave), which means a smoother start from 0 rpm, no mechanical vibration, less noise and less heat in the motor winding under sustained load. The difference is most noticeable at start-up and at low speeds, where square wave controllers tend to give a jerky start.
Regenerative braking at all voltages
Unlike the 45A controller (which supports regeneration only at 48V/52V), this 35A controller supports regenerative braking at all supported voltages: 48V, 52V and 60V. Regenerative braking converts kinetic energy back into electricity while braking, in 4 levels configurable from the display. The practical result: range extended by 5–15% on routes with frequent descents.
Full built-in protections
Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, overload, overheating, motor lock and anti-runaway. The black anodised aluminium casing provides efficient passive heat dissipation. CE certified.
Which Kits It Is Recommended For
MTX 1000W Kit
Sine wave upgrade for the 25A controller in the MTX 1000W kit. It offers 10A extra, sine wave and regenerative braking compared with the standard controller.
MTX 1500W Kit
Direct replacement for the controller in the MTX 1500W kit at 48V or 52V — the same 35A current, with sine wave and 3 operating modes.
48V–60V DIY Builds
Ideal for DIY projects with hub motors at 48V, 52V or 60V, where you want sine wave, regenerative braking and 3 operating modes in a compact format.
Installation and Connection
Installation Steps
- Choose the battery voltage (48V, 52V or 60V) before connecting the phase wires
- Connect the 3 motor phase wires and the Hall sensor connectors
- Connect the battery — observe the polarity
- Connect the display, throttle, PAS and brake sensors
- Run the phase self-learning with the wheel lifted before first use
Safety and Maintenance
- With regenerative braking active at all 3 voltages, test it on flat ground before going downhill
- Periodically check the tightness of the phase connectors, especially after transport or disassembly
- Operating temperature: −40°C to +80°C
35A Controller for 1000W–1500W
Works only on 48V, 52V or 60V, so a 36V battery is not an option. Regenerative braking works at all these voltages.
